MIS is seeking qualified Modeling & Analysis Engineers at all levels of experience. Candidates must be highly energetic, team-oriented individuals with a successful track record and demonstrated experience in specifying, designing, and implementing secure, complex systems. Candidates should be self-starters, energetic, eager to learn new skills, and willing to teach skills that they already possess.
• Primary duties include:
- Performing modeling and analysis of existing complex systems
- Analyzing future system designs and translating analysis into performance models
- Performing system trade studies to guide the development of future systems.
- Decomposing the most difficult of problems and implementing and interconnecting a model of the system.
- Developing and measuring performance metrics.
- Performing trade studies for complex systems
- Supporting development of CONOPS, requirements, specs, test strategies and implementation plans through analytically based models
- Advising customers on advanced research studies and applications to stay ahead of technology developments
- Providing technical assessments and recommendations via reports and briefings, including operational readiness
- Practicing sound Systems Engineering and Management practices
